No sound through HDMI output - Azulle Access

This is on the Azulle Access PC stick with a Westinghouse TV. Video output through HDMI is fine. But no sound goes through. TV speakers work fine with different sources, so it's not the TV.
I updated the audio driver. No change.

Here is my audio devices:

I have the exact same setup, Azulle Access connected to Westinghouse TV. I'll look at my drivers when I get home. I would look at updating drivers online for I2C controllers and GPO controllers under system devices. Those all pulled new drivers. Also check the Display Adapter controller driver for updates online.

You didn't really post a screenshot of your drivers - only your sound control panel. For the actual drivers you want to look in Device Manager. Do you have any unknown devices or exclamation points in Device Manager?

Awesome man. Hopefully I can get this fixed.

I just set mine up last week. The stick computer I mention in this thread is the Azulle Access connected to the Westinghouse TV (55" from Target for Christmas):
Important precautions to take before upgrading to Windows 10 - Windows 10 blog

These are my display adapter and sound controller driver details and what shows up in my control panel. Do you have any unknown devices or exclamation points in device manager?

Also, my stick is plugged in HDMI 3 on the TV. Doubt that makes a difference, though.

I use Kodi as my media player and it is set for passthrough audio to HDMI so I real 5.1 surround sound going to my receiver.

Okay, that's strange. My TV isn't showing up on my playback devices like yours is.

Do you have the same dates/versions of the video and sound controller drivers installed and do you have any unknown devices or exclamation points in Device Manager? Also, is the computer plugged directly into an HDMI port or are you using a cable or adapter?

Everything seems to be right. For whatever reason, it just doesn't want to work. Would a bluetooth speaker work for this?

A bluetooth speaker should work. Also look under system devices and you will see a series of GPIO controllers and I2C Controllers. If you right click on each one of them and update software, then search automatically, I know it will pull updated drivers from the internet on those. Don't know if that would fix it or not. You do not have to restart after each one updates, just restart after you update them all.

I just notice I have these audio devices in device manager, do you have the HDMI audio output disabled here, maybe?

Also, I wonder if you uninstalled (and delete driver) for the Intel SST Audio Device under Sound Controllers and then reinstalled it if that would fix it.

Make sure that your TV is powered on before you turn on the PC Stick. Windows has to recognize that you are plugged into a TV upon startup so that it correctly loads the driver.

Hope that helps.
