BSOD with bugcheck event-ID 1001

i have previously added more ram since i thought the DIMM_D1 and DIMM_D2 didn't work. i asked the retailer where i bought the motherboard if they did refurbishment on the board and i looked on ebay for someone with a new motherboard. i figured if this is the last i'll see of this card i'm gonna atleast try to see if the dimm stick work.

i added 1 ram stick in DIMM_D2 and booted up and saw that memory had increased then i added the 2nd and saw that it increased again.

this is probably not serious since it has been working now for over 2 weeks and no problem at all. i was playing some minecraft and was at the movies while the bsod happened so i went into the event logs for system and found event ID 1001 (bugcheck).

i recently (ca. for over 2 weeks ago) de-dusted my computer and added new thermal paste for the cpu. and by this i think i haven't cleaned the under side of the cpu all too well since i think either it was still filthy cause the DIMM slots D1 and D2 didnt work since they work fine now.

although i still want to do a memtest to be sure everything is ok since after the bsod i started minecraft again. usually i have 150+ fps but after the bsod i have around 50ish fps.. which is kinda slow when i'm haulin 219 mods :P

i have included the bsod zip file as in the instruction for posting in this bsod forum.

thx

i restarted the computer yesterday after my first post. and everything was back to normal. minecraft pumping full fps again.

Daemon tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known cause for BSOD's.
Please remove Daemon Tools and run the SPTD pass through remover.

  1. Uninstall Daemon Tools
  2. Download the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
    • Double click the executable to open it
    • Click on the button shown below

If the button is grayed out, like in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can close the window

The error is a 0x1A(MEMORY_MANAGEMENT) which is related to the memory.
This means that either there are problems with the slot/modules or drivers.
Have you had more crashes then this one?
If you haven't, a single crash isn't something to worry about as Windows takes the appropriate actions to solve it.
If you however would like to do something, please run MemTest86+ to test your memory.

Diagnostic Test
 RAM TEST

Run MemTest86+ to analyse your RAM. MemTest86+ - Test RAM - Windows 10 blog

   Note

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 passesfor conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zeroerrors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

i uninstalled daemon tools. i didnt get the same uninstall windows that you had a pic of. it wanted me to install it. i just exit the installation.
i searched "uninstall programs" in control panel for SPTD installation and there were none.

thanks for the memtest link. i will do this tomorrow since i'm going away so it'll have time to do its stuff.

i havent had more crashes but i just thought i would get an expert on this stuff to look through the uploaded log incase it was something more serious. i hope things work out with memtest so i can be sure i wont have to buy another RIVE since there are nearly not anyone left in europe atleast not for local retailers and not much on ebay since i only found 1 reseller who had a refurbished one. thanks for looking through the logs.

EDIT: i downloaded the wrong installer. thought it was the first one on that page. i downloaded the sptd installer and the uninstall button was greyed out lol

i have 4x4gb = 16gb ddr3 1866mhz corsair dominator platinum but then i have 4x2gb = 8gb ddr3 1600mhz corsair dominator gt.

does these 2 mixups have anything to do with MEMORY_MANAGEMENT bsods?

does anyone know what configuration these 2 memory sticks's can work together as? like 1333mhz, 1600mhz. currently have them xmp at 1866mhz.

i got the thermal paste out of the lga and the random multiple bsods reduced to memory_management bsod.

They cannot work together, 1 of them will lower its frequency what causes instability as it runs below the designed specs.

i looked at some new memory. corsair dominator platinum ddr3 1866mhz with the same number CMD16GX3M4A1866C9

only that they come in 2 x 8 gb.. will they work along with the 4x4 gb?

They can, as long as the modules are in the same colored slots.
