Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 10565

. . .Time to see where folks here on the Ten's stand on the new insider build.

Thus far I have had no problems with this build other then the my need for a dark theme (just me). The right click problem has ben resolved.

What problems have you ran into, and what did you do to fix said problems. . .inquiring mines would like to know. . .

Not a single problem this time except old stuff I don't like after upgrades, almost all registry hacks revert to default and have to apply them again.
Made me ISO and did Disk Cleanup, just in the process of making Reflect backup.

My machine updated from 10547, but booted into a black screen at about 40% and said there was no operating system. I then rebooted and it said there was an error installing and would have to revert back to the previous version. When I got back to the previous version I updated again and this time it worked.
All up the time it took for the two installations was under 2 hours so nothing too dramatic. Since the latest installation I have had no problems and everything seems to be running smoothly, which is more than I can say about 10547.

Hello, and thanks for starting this thread: it is much better to reffer to our impressions / findings / issues, here.

I will post my first impressions from this latest TP build. First, a few important notes:

- My system is fully shown in my System Specs.
- I am on a dual boot system with Windows 10 Pro 10240 which is my main OS, and TP 10565.
- Preview build 10565 has been clean-installed couple of hours ago, after creating an ISO from the .esd, after following Kari's tutorial.
- I always clean-install with the respective SSD drive being the only drive plugged into my system during installation.
- I always install the latest drivers, which I keep in a dedicated USB stick, and [ I install them] in a specific order.
- Since this is a TP build I do not apply ANY modifications, I do not apply ANY tweaks, besides the well known Sean's SSD guide for Win 8. Also, I have not installed ANY additional program besides HWiNFO64, the monitoring tool. I haven't even installed Office.

My impression is that this is a very nice build, so nice that I might set it up as my main operating system - in which I apply every kind of possible tweak.

One thing that I have observed: when I set the short time format as HH:mm:ss, the seconds do not appear at all on the task bar, whereas on the Lock screen they do appear but frozen. They do not change.

That's all I have observed so far. I am trying to use all the Apps the OS is offering and not install any programs. Too bad there is no Zoom level [shown] in the Photo App.

Thank you.

Downloaded fast, installed fast, not a single problem out here in the beautiful desert Southwest.

Downloaded and installed without any problems at all. The only thing I have noticed so far is that there is a noticable delay when clicking the Start Flag to the Start Menu actually opening.

The only problem I have is I haven't had time to update to it yet.

I am here to confirm something mentioned by another member on the "Announcing..." thread:

- When searching for a non-existent value in Regedit, it keeps searching for it for-ever. When pressing "Cancel" the Registry Editor freezes, a pop-up pops saying that it has stopped functioning, and then it restarts.

If you wish, try these on your system and report back here if it's happening to you, as well, or not.

Thank you.

I cannot install any of today's updates.

The new build is going well,, so far at least.
