Dell All-in-One HDMI problem

Hello again, it's been a while since I needed advice from the experts through 7 and 10 blog.
We recently acquired a Dell All-in-One. Nice budget computer. I have completed all the updates and exporting from our old upright under-desk computer. This took several days as I am no techie, evidenced when I describe the current problem.
I must have spent 4 days attempting to get the Dell to recognise our Panasonic TV as a second display, something which was a doddle on the old computer.
Completely frustrated, we carted the whole lot back to Currys and asked why the computer does not recognise the TV. Within a minute, Currys gently explained the HDMI port on the Dell is only a HDMI IN.
Suffice it to say, we were shocked.
One of our joys, being pensioners, is watching YouTube videos on our Panasonic TV but now we are stuck.
Currys suggested we purchase a Microsoft v.2 Wureless Display Adapter but would have to order:

We know the Dell wifi is functioning as it found our bluetooth speakers.
Is anyone able to confirm that this solution is satisfactory?

I have never heard of a HDMI port on a device that is Input only.
What is the Exact model# of the Dell All in One? I would check your documentation and contact Dell support to confirm this is true before making any other purchases.

What is the exact Dell model number? I can look up what it actually has (and like spunk I would say it IS an Output).

The particular model is a DELL - Inspiron 22 3000 21.5" All-in-One PC

Looking, for the first time, at the Dell site, I was shocked to see that this model does indeed have only a "HDMI-in".

Rear
2 USB 2.0 ports
1 RJ-45
1 Audio line Out
1 DC power
1 HDMI-in

Obviously, therefore, we have, through our own ignorance, rather embarrassingly, found ourselves in this situation.

We would really appreciate any suggestions as to how we can replicate the computer monitor on our Panasonic TV given the wrong direction HDMI on the Dell.

Thanks

No, not yet as I am hard-of-hearing. The link I provided in my second post confirms only 1 HDMI-in.

in which we can

Rear
2 USB 2.0 ports
1 RJ-45
1 Audio line Out
1 DC power
1 HDMI-in

Cheers

I looked at that model again, on the US sales site. The Intel model shows "HDMI IN", the AMD models show "HDMI OUT".

Do you have an Intel CPU or AMD CPU. However, I'm still at a loss to explain the "in". Never saw that before on ANY other Dell or any other brand.

Thanks.

Ours is an Intel i3 model.

I'm trying to get a clarification from Dell. I posted on a special Dell forum section only for the "rockstars" specialists (I am still listed as one).
