Suddenly a couple of days ago while looking through Youtube, I suddenly had a blue screen of death. PC has never been the same since! System Restore and Reset your PC both fail.
Also on Chrome I cannot access any https websites, on Edge I cannot access any websites, plus the latest Windows Update (ending in 266) fails. Kaspersky seems to update okay but Malwarebyte Anti Malware cannot update.
I've Googled my problem and tried various things from Command Line Prompt, most of which fail, and nothing has worked!
What can I do please? Is it possible that my C drive is corrupted? If so is it recoverable and how?
Hi, first check your BSOD report- use Event Viewer if you know how, or more simply, Nirsoft's Bluescreenview (easy to find). Post the report.
Then run chkdsk
Run Check Disk from a Command Line to Check for and fix Disk Errors
When that gives you a clear result, run sfc /scannow
(Ok, it talks about win 8- ignore that).
Please post the result.
Is this what you need from Bluescreenview? Just going to try checkdisk etc now!
