Hi guys today I made a mistake in the start-up services tab and I put disable all services, so when i start windows 10 it stays in the "photo" screen like it when you power up after suspending windows.
Basically here is the process I followed but I did wrong the part of ticking hide all windows services:
END BACKGROUND TASKS AND SERVICES
Hold the Windows key and press the letter R to open the Run window.
In the Run window that appears, type msconfig (without the quotes) and click OK .
In the System Configuration window, click on the Startup tab.
Click the Disable all button.
Click on the Services tab.
Click on the checkbox next to Hide all Microsoft services , which will remove all of the Microsoft services from the Services list.
Click on the Disable all button and click OK .
You will be prompted to restart the computer, which you should do before proceeding.
Restart your computer.
Please could someone help me get back all the services I deleted?
Thnx
Roll back to a previous restore point.
I can't do that because when I start windows it stops in the screen that has a photo like when you suspend your session, and can do nothing.
Try to start in safe mode. Power off and find key combo to hit for your model to enter Windows Recovery Console.
I'm sorry but that doesn't work either, I have no way to start in safe mode.
The screen that I get is the one with the beautiful photos they put and without anything on it but a menu in bottom right to change language, connect to internet, accessibility and power.
"a menu in bottom right to change language, connect to internet, accessibility and power."
If you click the power icon (farthest R icon) then Shift + Restart, that should put you into the Recovery Console and Advanced Troubleshooting will get you into safe mode where you can run the services.msc command or try System Restore, if you have a prev point.
Bump. Been a whole day trying all the things I could and I retried the shift+restart combo, for some reason I held it for longer than the other tries and it for me to the trubleshooting screen, now im restoring to a point before the disabling of the crucial services. I wanna thank the help sincerely.
My Best regards, Saint.
Issue solved.
I have done the same accidentally restart with all services disabled, but shift restart only restarts the same lockout screen. My whole trouble started with audio drivers not loading and all efforts to fix this ended with BSOD from mskssrv.sys crash. Now I cannot even get window repair or safe mode to start.
My Pc is 32bit W10 pro, intel core 2 6600 with gigabyte eg45m.
I would really like to save my computer because I have so many programs which I cannot get or reinstall again.
First of all, sorry for the late reply.
I am afraid that I can't help with your issue, when I shift-restarted it had put me in the restore screen and I could choose older state.
Best of luck on your issue.
Saint.
