Hello expert! Actually I'm little bit confused that many years I'm going to operate my PC with windows-7, 32 bit and it is Intel Dual Core. Unfortunately, now I'm too resentful with 32 bit because of I can't able to use some softwares there in 32 bit OS. So, I decided to upgrade my windows 32 bit to 64 bit.
What do you think is it possible to use my Dual Core PC with 64 bit windows-7? Please help me with your valuable suggestions.
32 or 64 bit OS is dictated by your system type. If you have 32 bit system, you can only use 32-bit OS. 64 bit is not an option for it.
Thanks for your answer, Could you explain something in details? How do I check this system type...? Sorry for bothering you badrobot!
If you are on win 7, go to Start>>> right-click "Computer" and select Properties. Under System you can view the system type.
Thanks badrobot! it is really awesome ! I found my solution there..... I saw x64-based processor . But now I'm using 32 bit in this processor... How fool is that!!!... Thanks again...
Do an upgrade to Windows 10 32-bit.
Activate it.
Do a clean install of 64-bit version.
Do you mean Both in one pc?
No... He saying right now you have windows 7 32bit . If you don't want to use a 32 bit OS go with a 64bit . Either install windows 7 64 if you have a copy of that or get windows 10 64 bit free upgrade . So what you can do is upgrade 7 to windows 10 32bit which it will do automatically when you try the upgrade process. And once it's done check to see if it's activated, if so ? You would backup all your data and what ever else you have on your computer you want . Then download windows 10 64bit onto a usb stick or disc and process to do a clean installation of windows 10 64 bit . A clean installation is wiping the hard drive of all the data on it . Then afterwards you would install windows 10 64 bit from the usb stick or a windows 10 disc, the choice is your to do .Code:https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
you need to do a clean install to change windows 32 bit to 64 bit.
You will love 64 bit so much better and faster just make sure you do the drivers once up dated to 64 for printer, etc ok from their website as they will be the latest and genuine ones
