Hi Guys,
I've just updated my pc to Windows to Windows 10 a few days ago and ever since I upgraded I've been getting so much Malware on my PC, and when I remove them all the next day there is more and more Viruses! So I was wondering if anyone knew what is happening.
Thanks,
Randy
Can you tell us what viruses you are encountering? Have you done any steps to fight it? You are welcome to upload screenshots of your screen so that we have a better idea with what you are fighting with. If you recently installed windows you are welcome to do a system refresh which will likely eliminate any viruses along with your files and start from fresh.
Refresh Windows 10 - Windows 10 blog
If you wish to not reinstall let us know.
You don't have any anti virus protection working or installed it appears. Refresh installation or (recommended) clean install win10 after saving as much of your valued files as you can. Before proceeding to launch windows and immediately hit the web make sure you have at the minimum "WINDOWS DEFENDER". Then visit only trusted sites for a good anti-virus program. Many examples are give in this forum. Don't open the saved files from your first win 10 installation until you have done a security scan on them to be sure they are not infected file.
Yup - change your browsing habits!!
Be sure the programs you d/l are coming, if at all possible, directly from the source. Anytime you use a host site, such as Cnet, you risk the site adding unwanted goodies. This article shows a good example of what happens when you d/l from such a site.
Heres What Happens When You Install the Top 10 Download.com Apps
Malwarebytes (the free version) can help keep your system clear. Be sure to uncheck the "start free trial" box after installation is finished. If you wish to opt for the pro version, that features active background scanning & automatic updates.
Be aware of where you go online & that visiting questionable websites can result in drive by downloads, that will infect your system without you knowledge.
You may wish to check if your system is infected with a rootkit. TDSSKiller is a good tool to check for this.
TDSSKiller DownloadNoteWhen running TDSSKiller, launch the program, click on the blue text "Change Parameters" & check the box marked "Detect TDLFS File system." Click OK & then run the scan.
Are there actually any W 10 viruses ?
Just few posts above there's a guy complaining that he can't kill all the windows "stupid" safety features.
What browser do you use? Do you have an adblocker installed in it?
Got to take a breather from the hardcore porn bud , i know how unbearable that must sound but contrary to popular belief humans can survive ( up to five minutes, although have not verified myself)without hardcore porn .
Porn sites are malwares home base .
And"Free Music"sites...
I disagree. You don't have to visit "pr0n" sites to get infected these days. Any other seemingly innocuous sites can be more dangerous.
