Story if you are interested:
So I upgrade from 10130 to 10158, and in the process, I ended up with a shortcut in the quick access section that was impossible to remove. So I deleted the keys ^, and now I can't pin stuff to quick access, although the empty shortcut was removed , so can anyone kindly export the keys and give it to me somehow? Thanks.
Hello Andrehsu, and welcome to windowssh blog.
Here you go.

Quick access - Add or Remove Recent files in Windows 10
Ok, thank you, but now the empty folder thing that can't be unpinned is back. I deleted the two keys and imported yours. Help?
That would be for your %UserProfile%Downloadsfolder.
As a test, see if pining that folder at that location will get it to work for you afterwards.
Quick access - Pin or Unpin Locations in Windows 10
If not, then you could also do a system restoreusing a restore point dated before this happened to undo it.
Nope, right clicking and pinning doesn't pin downloads to quick access or replace the broken shortcut. And this happened when I updated from 10130 to 10154, so I am not sure a system restore is viable.
Edit: 10158 I mean
Did you move your Downloads folder to a different location that default?
nope
I'm afraid I haven't found were Quick access stores pinned folders yet to be able to just reset it.
I fixed it! YAY
I deleted the downloads folder, which removed it from the left pane, then recreated the folder and repinned it.
Voila:
it works!!!
Thanks to Brink for your help restoring my deleted keys
Hope this helps someone
Perfect. Thank you for posting back with your results.
