Track releases on the Media Creation Tool?

Hello, Is there a way I can track the ISO releases on the Media Creation Tool?I mean, most of the times I download a ISO from the Media Creation Tool, I late realize that a new version has not be released and I have downloaded the version I already have. Please let me know if there is a way I can know if a new build is available on the Media Creation Tool.

Why use the tool when you can download the major release ISO's from Microsoft.com.

I agree. Just download the ISO straight from Microsoft.

Where is that?
And are they release versions or betas as well?

The files on the drive will normally be designated by build number. Check some of those to see.

No, it shows only version, not the build, like Build 14384.
I want to know when the Media Creation Tool gets updated by a newer Build.

Can anyone post a link to those ISOs directly from Microsoft?

Windows 10 ISO

Released versions only.

Downloading the iso direct is the best way to be sure you're downloading the latest version, but the Media Creation Tool does have one advantage - it will by default download the correct version and edition for your PC. For each version (1607, 1511 or 10240) a new MCT was issued. As you (and I) found to our cost, an older MCT will still download the older iso. You can check the version of the MCT you have by looking at the Details tab in its Properties. For the original release there were two MCTs, separate ones for x86 and x64.
