I downloaded Win 10 last week.
Found out today that my epsom nx515 scanner is not working.
I've tried:
running the Epsom troubleshooter
reinstalling the scanner and rebooting.
The printer works just fine. The scanner is dead.
What do I need to do? Anyone, anyone?
Have you tried downloading & installing the scanner driver listed under DRIVERS in link below:
Thank you for the reply. Per your suggestion, I just downloaded the items listed as Recommended for You and also Drivers. Now, I am being told to connect the printer/scanner to the laptop with a cable I don't have, so ordered it on Amazon just now. Is there a workaround, or do I need the cable? Thanks!
You may need that USB cable to scan (regrettable it didn't come with device) but were you able to scan wirelessly prior to downloading Win 10....assuming you upgraded from previous Windows version....also the URL provided listed manuals, etc for your device. You may want to check out for more info...
Update: Found this may help....
The printer cable arrived. I attached it to the printer and laptop usb port. Reinstalled the software from disc. Printer works wirelessly, scanner doesn't. I'm frustrated. What am I doing wrong?
I sent an email to Epson tech-support describing my problem. Within 24 hours, I had a response. I followed their instructions. The scanner now works flawlessly! Problem solved
