Been two months since I have upgraded, but when I did some drivers don't work. My optical drive doesn't work anymore, the USB 3.0 doesn't work. Help would be greatly appreciated.
Posting your system specs may be helpful.
Here you go.
It's not a Win10 thing. Look at the left side of the window and below your name, there's a thing that says My System Specs. Click on it and fill in the details, just saying you have Windows 10 will never be enough information to provide help. Look at anyone else who has posted to get the idea.
I was more interested in the motherboard model number. If you don't know it, there are a number of free utilities (like CPU-Z) that can read it.
I see that you have an I7-950 CPU. Asus P6T Deluxe, maybe? There's not much at Asus for that newer than Windows 7. Win 8 seems to be supported, but no drivers are present, which implies that the drivers are present in Win 8. With any luck, Win 10 would be the same.
Do you get any yellow triangles in Device manager?
Your ultimate fix may be a clean install of Windows 10. Something of a pain, but it may lead to a better result than an upgrade.
A fairly expensive motherboard.
The latest drivers Asus makes available for it are for Windows 7. Maybe the Win 7 drivers for the third-party USB 3 ports will work.

The DVD drive shouldn't need any extra drivers beyond those in Windows. You may be able to get it to re-appear by fixing errors in the Windows Registry. Here's one suggested fix:
but you may have to search for others and try them.
Due to my ignorance and lack of skill, I still suggest a clean install of Win 10.
Alrighty, thanks for your help.
