Various keyboard issues (Not a problem with keyboard)

I have some problems with my keyboard. I know that this not an issue with the keyboard, since I have tried two keyboards. One wired, one wireless. Anyway, the problems are that sometimes keys take 5-10 seconds to respond, keys sometimes hang, and that keys sometimes completely stop responding. Remember, all 3 of these problems occur no matter which I try to use. The two keyboards I have tried are the SteelSeries Apex (Wired) and the Logitech K520 (Wireless). More details about keyboards (probably unnecessary):
Apex:
-Customizable color options, also has effects that fade into different colors
-4 profiles with keys to switch (acts like different keyboardsno changes to USB hub)
-2 USB 2.0 Ports
-Takes 2 USB slots
-SteelSeries logo button between right ALT and document (correct word) button
K520:
-Battery Indicator
-Meh, other than that, just an average keyboard with a number pad
EDIT: Ran sfc /scannow, no problems.

The Wired keyboards can be either PS/2 [round purple plug] or USB. The Wireless probably used a USB transceiver/dongle.

Since you say the problem is not the keyboard but you don't say whether those same keyboards have been tested on other computers my best guess is the either the keyboards are bad, unlikely for all 3 at the same time, or that the keyboard controller on the motherboard for the ports is bad. My first diagnostic is to shut the computer down and pull the power cord from the back of it, wait a minute and plug it back in and try again. Second would be to try the keyboards on a different computer.

Also, it is quite possible for static electricity, sometimes unfelt, has damaged the ports or the keyboards or both. My wife killed a motherboard some years ago just by touching the keyboard.

Hm. Will try that, and test it on another computer. It is very unlikely that the keyboards are bad, especially from 2 different brands, but OK.

Well, to see if it worked, I am going to type and see how many errors I have. Typed out a paragraph, still many errors, although it fixed my problem with getting stuck on "B4" when my PC starts up.

I should also mention that the issues began when I updated to the Windows 10 October update.

Ran the hardware troubleshooter, things work better but the issue is still there, but happens less often.

Switched to my only 2 USB 2.0 Ports from my 3.1 ports (Back has 2 2.0 ports and the rest are 3.1, front has 2 3.0 ports) and everything works great! Maybe this keyboard does not have full support for 3.1. Anyway, should not matter much since the USBs that it has look like 2.0. thanks for the help, though!

Quit working altogether. Tried driver reinstall, but it didn't work. I know it is not a motherboard or keyboard issue since my bootloader recognizes it just fine. Now typing with the on-screen keyboard.

Works on 3.1 ports with issues. Not at all on 2.0 ports. I tried it on a different PC, but no issues. Same OS version. Removed all cables except mouse and keyboard, nothing.

Reinstalled Windows 10. Still has problems. I have narrowed it down to either a driver issue or a motherboard problem, and I think I know what it is. Yay it is a great and amazing motherboard problem. Oh, wait, I don't want that...
