Is Microsoft prepping for a post Windows 10 RTM Insider build?

Microsoft could be preparing to release a new Windows 10 build to Insiders, as the feedback app has been updated to show only the previous two weeks worth of feedback.

How to Start or Stop Receiving Insider Builds in Windows 10

A new insider build would be great.. I would hope to see improvements to Edge.

I'm hoping for improvements to Edge, and the Mail App. We'll see...

Hi there

October isn't that far off and I think the current insider builds are all set to expire on Oct 02 2015 or some date near that.
I suspect that unless Ms is dropping the insider program (and there hasn't even been the tiniest hint of that happening) then they will have to either release a fix to extend the date or release a new build (or two).

Another interesting snippet -- Ms surface Pro 4 should be coming out "soonish" so they will want to make sure the OS works on it. I'm hoping to buy one of those for myself for XMAS this year !!!!.

Currently also EDGE is a "Mega Mess" and they need to sort out "Settings" and the old control panel. It's pointless to continue with BOTH. Just confusing. Also the Windows right mouse click on the Windows symbol throws up in the popup menu a load of items that are IN the old control panel anyway -- another bit of over duplication (or triplication in this case).

Cheers

My desktop (dual boot) and one laptop are ready when Gabe hits the switch.

There are some options in Settings that link you back to Control Panel too. Looks like a lot of work to sort that all out. Somebody will be busy.

A new insider build would be nice, especially if it has significant changes.

Yes,, and I just want to play with a new build. Living with 10 is nice but it's dull with no changes to play with.

I think it's going to be an ongoing project for some time - all they can really do is just chip away at...

That is probably more to do with the recently released 10152 Build for Phones. There's no point in clogging the insider app with all that data from old betas.
