Leaked Windows 10 Screenshot Reveals $1 Upgrade from Home to Pro - Not

Leaked screenshots of Windows 10 build 10154 reached the web only a few hours ago, and although this version is not yet up for grabs, we can already have a look at some of the changes Microsoft is planning thanks to these photos.

One of the screenshots reveals an upgrade from Windows 10 Home to the Pro edition, which can be performed straight from the store, but what's more interesting is the price of this upgrade.
As you can see for yourselves, Microsoft appears to be charging only $1 for the upgrade from Home to Pro, but it's not yet clear whether this is the real price that the company's going to use when the operating system goes live on July 29.
Real or not?

This price could be just a placeholder for the time being, given that Windows 10 is not yet available, or it might be part of a special promo that the company could be offering after the launch of the operating system.

Interesting

Don't need the Pro version, but for $1 I would take it

That would only cost me a beer. Todays exchange rate:

That is a good deal.

Be about 1/7th of a pint over here that money (64p)

Sounds to good to be true. Probably a placeholder as mentioned.

The only faint hope is for an introductory offer at a cheaper price, but even that will be more than $1.

I'd be very surprised if the don't offer a discount when Windows 10 first comes out. If they do and the price is right I'll buy two Windows Pro licenses.

Count me in.

I'd update wife's laptop for a buck, I'm already at Pro, came with the machine.
