Microsoft Keeps Teasing Windows 10 Features Ahead of...

January is a really important month for Microsoft, as the company is expected to disclose full details about its Windows 10 plans during a press conference scheduled for January 21 and, shortly after that, to introduce a new Technical Preview that could provide users with a plethora of new features.

Codenamed January Technical Preview, the new testing build could provide access for Windows Insiders to features such as Cortana and Continuum, an option that would allow them to switch from the desktop to the Modern UI without interrupting their work.

And since the January Technical Preview is quite an eagerly-anticipated release, Microsoft has started teasing some Windows 10 features on Twitter, trying to stir up interest in the new event coming January 21.
JTP to also come with new ISOs

The upcoming January Technical Preview rollout will also include new ISOs that would enable those who want to try it out to deploy a fresh copy of their computers without the need to install a previous release first.

Thanks for posting. I for one will defiantly download the ISO for a clean install. Can't wait to try it out!!

Here is an image that I found in the article:

Continuum, an option that would allow them to switch from the desktop to the Modern UI without interrupting their work.
Aha! This is one of the features I've been waiting to test out. Hopefully it works as advertised.

Yes,,, that would eliminate the need for the registry hack.

H'mmm...I must not have been paying attention in school that day. As I didn't realize there was a registry hack for that purpose.

Not a feature I would ever use, as I am not a fan of metro, although I can see how it might benefit many folks....

I don't think Continuum is going to be of much use for a non-touch desktop PC, I'm not even sure if the options menu will show on a desktop PC!
