This has been happening on and off ever since I started with Win 10 and its always very annoying .
System just hangs, no error message, no bsod, just complete freeze and loud hum.
I cant say I can remember having issues watching youtube videos, its the streaming of live content such as filmon. Sometimes I can watch filmon for days and not have the issue and then randomly it will start again. Today I was watching hypermole playing on twitch tv (live) and it just happened. Getting tired of it.
I can also report having all my video content display as a green screen after using hyper v although that may be totally unrelated.
As far as I am aware, I'm using the latest drivers for my graphics, I always try update everything. I have attached the log files as requested.

Hi m1a1t,
Welcome to the 10blog
I'm not a specialist when it comes to freeze problems, but I do have a tip (or 2 when talking about reverting back the changes)
IObit software is known for causing problems, I would highly recommend that you remove it and revert back the changes it made when it comes to drivers.
- DB3 may install corrupted or the wrong drivers what may cause problems,
- Malwarefighter is IMHO garbage,
- Advanced SystemCare may cause more harm than good
About the uninstall program I can't tell you anything, because I have no experience with it and I prefer to keep it that way.
Thanks for taking the time to look at that. OK I had not heard of having issues with iobit products. I have uninstalled all of them and opened filmon and so far no problems. I can also report that firefox was reporting the adobe flash plugin outdated so I have updated with the latest version of flash but this has been happening from the start, the update of the flash yeah might help but I'm not convinced that's it.
As per driver booster "may install wrong or outdated drivers" I suppose the only way around that is go through device manager and search automatically for each item? Or perhaps you know a good driver program that might do it.
I'll see how it goes and post back with my logs again if it keeps happening, I'll be very grateful to stamp this out. Cant be good for my hard drive to just keep powering off all the time, not to mention the annoyance of the whole thing - with no message and no way to get out of the freeze - losing unsved work etc. Thanks for the tips and I'll see how I get on over the next week.
The best way to update drivers = manually.
just happened again, was running filmon in one tab, opened a youtube video in another - it got about 30secs in and freeeze
has happened about 3 more times since. I do notice it more when watching online streaming video such as Filmon but it does appear to happen randomly, for example just watching a video from my pc.
I am using win10pro insider build but I have had this issue on all versions of Win10 since the start. From the start when it happened the first time I would always update flash and java and my laptops built in graphics driver.. ati mobility radeon 4650. I have also been through all the Fujitsu drivers from their site for my ah530 gfx laptop.
Really not sure what to try. Never had this issue on Windows 7.
Any help would be great.
I can also report that my browser can run very slowly and unresponsive, I use Waterfox. Theres 8gb ram in my laptop so really should be running nice and quick. Even typing this is staggered and taking time to catch up with my typing.
To offer some resolve for others having this issue..
Try Chrome instead!
I think that for whatever reason that the issue is connected with Waterfox. Whether or not its the same with Firefox I dont know. I have always used Firefox and more recently Waterfox and never really liked Chrome. I have found that this issue is normally always from watching video online especially live streams. When testing using Chrome the responsiveness and stream loading and picture quality is far superior and runs really nice. I dont seem to get the slowness issues either from Chrome.
I am going to take the plunge and give up on firefox/waterfox and use Chrome and I just have a feeling that my system crashes will be resolved. Lately its been happening many times daily so hopefully this is the solution. Also to have it running really quick with great picture quality is a breath of fresh air .
well it just happened again but at least this time gave a blue screen and an error code SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (win32kfull.sys).
