Windows 10 does not find songs on my Ipod.
I wanted to copy them to my laptop.
Neither Itunes nor Groove Music "sees" them.
It only sees the pictures on the Ipod.
Any pearls of wisdom for me?
Hi there
Have a look at this ...
The free Syncios Manager allows you to transfer music between your iPod and PC, bypassing iTunes.
I don't have an iPod (or use iTunes) so might be barking up the wrong tree.

You might be able to use Programs like MoboRobo, iFunbox, or iMazing, depending on which iOS is in your iPod. If you have iOS 6 or earlier, look for the earlier version of iMazing called DiskAid. Most of those have ways to export your on-device music libraries into Windows, iMazing allows you to import most of your library. It's best to do it one album at a time, if you try to do the whole library at once, sometimes the import system chokes and you have to restart it.
Of course it's best to use iTunes to sync the library, but that only works if you loaded your device through iTunes on the Windows 10 PC. If you did, then you can use the Music App, add your iTunes/Music folder to it and it will all show up.
Thank you. I'll give that a try.
Thanks for the information. I'll give it a try.
As far as I know, you aren't able to copy songs off of an iDevice, unless you manage to get some third-party app working. This is one of the primary reasons I haven't owned an iPhone since the 3GS. Too many restrictions and hoops to jump through for music I legally purchased or created from CDs I legally own.
If your iPod is associated with iTunes on your computer, iTunes should already have a copy of all your iPod content and can be exported. At least that's the way it was about 2 years ago. If your iPod is associated with another computer, it will not work. In that case a third party program may work.
