Hi
I have been using this version of windows 10 from last 1 month. I installed all the drivers and everything was working just fine. From last few days my wifi driver isn't responding. I tried reinstalling the driver but the problem still exists.
I can connect through the ethernet cable and the bluetooth driver is also working. Only the wifi driver has stopped. Please help.
My laptop is Dell inspiron 5520
Anything obvious in the device manager? See if there an error indication under "network adapters"
There is just one Realtek PCIe family controller. That too without any "!" mark
There is no WiFi switch or the WiFi tab in the network and internet settings.
When i choose the "Flight Mode", it says "we couldn't find any wireless devices on this PC".
Is this the wifi device within the laptop? Perhaps it has died or turned off in the BIOS and/or some
other means proprietary to the Dell laptop (function key?)
So what should i do to make it work?
And i dont know exactly what is it. I've tried various BT+WiFi drivers available for my lappy from dell site.
Fun+F2 key enables or disables the wireless communications. But since there is no wifi driver available in my laptop, only the bluetooth gets on/off unlike before when the wifi got turned off too.
Have you been able to find a driver at Dell (Windows 8 perhaps?). If you tried it, what happens when you run it?
Can you post the make and model of your Wi-Fi card in your laptop?
When I try to install the network driver from the dell site, it says "the current system isn't supported for this update package".
Here's the link to the text document containing my system and network details if that helps.
If you haven't tried this driver update utility, let it run and see whether it fixes the problem:Dell Drivers Download
Is there any free software to update the drivers? I am not sure if I can activate this tweakbit to update the drivers.
