Case Fan rattles when I boot up

Hi, so whenever I boot up my PC, the fan next to the IO port rattles. I usually fix this by tapping the back of the case. Do I have to remount the fan or is there another way to fix it.
I have an NZXT S340. Thanks

When you boot up, the fans are usually revved up full speed.
Could be a loose bracket...but
Most likely you have a baring going bad.

Fans are really cheap now a days.
Best to replace.

Is there a way to fix it without replacing it? I would rather attempt to fix it before investing in another one. Thanks

Before fans became so inexpensive I used to open them up and grease it's shaft and bearing with lithium grease, that would quiet them down for few months.

Well its not the noise that's the problem, its how the fan rattles ad shakes the back of my computer :

That also may signify loose and worn bearing so grease instead of oil fixes it for a while because it's thicker. Missing or a damaged fin can be another but unfixable problem.
In any case, there's no miracle cure, either try to fix it like that or replace.

Bite the bullet, where talking a few dollars here.
It will get nothing but worse, so when your aggravation peaks you will
replace it.

I fixed it by just remounting it to the case lol
Thanks for the help everyone
