It's quite possible sufficient damage was done, either by the plug getting stuck or the work in removing it, that the contacts inside the jack have been forced into cutting the speakers circuits off as happens when plugging into it. From the number of Notebooks I've had to junk and take apart first I'd say the only real solution is a new motherboard or a new Notebook. If it were a Desktop one can disable the onboard audio system and get an Add-in Sound card. Or maybe try the USB type speakers.

I was wanting to see if somehow i could disable my headphone jack and then be able just to play sound through my speakers is it any way i could do that

‚Just in case it "thinks" there's something plugged in and there's no damage to sound chip, try plugging in other headphones or speakers.

Have you tried USB headphones to see if that works as on my Toshiba instead of using the jack plug I use them.

Many laptops have a "daughter board" (small separate board from the motherboard) with the I/O jacks on it. Replacing that, if yours has one, is a viable option.
