Yes, opening many instances of Edge is not available but as the previous poster said, you can open several tabs.

What do you mean by opening a new tab in Edge? I clicked the Edge on the Quick Lunch Bar. It opened a new website address but I could not minimize the current website. It's a poor design, isn't it?

Are you wanting to open the same web page multiple times? For example show this page in 2-3-4-5 tabs at the same time?

No. I want to open several DIFFRENT webpage but I am unable to minimize the current webpage while opening a new different website. Try to minimize the current webpage and then right click the Microsoft Edge from the quick launch bar to open the new address bar. Can you open the default webpage? The IE allows minimizing the current webpage and the user can right click the IE from the quick launch bar to open the default webpage so that the user can navigate to the other website but still keeps the current website. It's easy but the Microsoft Edge made the confusion. How to open and keep several different websites from the Microsoft Edge on the quick launch bar?

Open the web pages you want in tabs, then drag each tab off of the tab bar, it will open in a new window.
You can even put different Edge windows on different 'Virtual Desktops'.

Or alternatively (if you want multiple windows) you can either press crtl +N or click on the 3 dots in the top left and take the top option...

I think the answer to your problem is to click the three dots in the upper right hand corner, designated "more actions". Next just click "New Window". A new window will appear and the previous one will be minimized. With several windows minimized, you can select from them be pointing with your pointer.

I forgot to mention that to see the minimized windows you must point to the "e" symbol in your "taskbar" at the bottom of your screen.
