Title Bar Text & Icon

Is there some way I can hide or remove the title bar text and icon? I am running windows 10 (10586). I have included a screenshot of the offending item..

Using Full Screen: F11, works fine here.

Thanx for the suggestion.....but not exactly what I was going for.....F11 just maximizes the screen and that spoils the aesthetics of the theme. (which the title text is already doing!) I was hoping for a piece of code or a reg edit to do the trick.

That's a tab, you could have dozens of them open. Do you want to remove them all?
Also, since this is Firefox we're talking about, I won't expect any specific Windows reg tweaks since this is a multi-platform project. You then would need to expect similar looks and solutions in Linux and OSX as well then.
If you do find a reg key, it would be impressing.
Though it looks like everything is fixed through extensions these days:

@Csquared:

Turn off the Title Bar:

Thanx for the input. No it is not the tabs I have an issue with, it is the firefox icon and text on the title bar I want get rid of, it is redundant as I can tell which tab I have open as it is hilited in blue text for selected tab as opposed to white text on unselected tab , not to mention the content of the page is a good clue. I have already tried the "title bar" option in customize and it only succeeds in bumping the tab bar up and super imposes it on top of the top border of the theme, once again messing up the aesthetics of said theme. Which is what I am trying to resolve. I guess I will just have to try and find out how to change the font to black instead of white on the title bar, at least then the text will not be visible and I will just have to live with the orange firefox icon or change it to the blue silk one I prefer....many thanx for the replies

That looks like it has something to do with the FFox version and theme you use.

By default I get this in developer edition:

And only if I enable titlebar on customize I get the waste of space:

Text seems to be theme-controlled, not much to do unless you can alter that, but it can be Windows-controlled somewhere in settings in case of high contrast themes.

@Csquared

You could change the icon by opening the firefox.exe in Resource Hacker and replace the image, (think it has to be an .ico image)

the font/color is somewhere in a stylesheet, but I'm not sure.

Once again thanx guys for the replies. I was afraid it might be theme/FF version related, and it appears to be. Great, my next question was going to be, does reshacker still work on windows 10? Off I go then, to turf the orange icon for my blue one...and i shall keep trying to find the control for that pesky text.

@Csquared:

Here's another alternative:

Sign up for Firefox Test Pilot features, there is one called 'Tab Center', it puts tabs on the left side, eliminates the Title Bar and automatically applies your theme to the header.
(I suspect you are running a HUD theme), it may work for you, it may not.
