im looking for a mini pc that i can PRIVATELY host game servers for me and my friends.
i like this one here but i was wondering what the max ram i can put on it?

It does not look that you could add any RAM. It is really a very low end entry PC. I would look for something more traditional. Look into the Sunday ads. Sometimes they have good deals. Here are a couple starting at $150.

For Light serving duties - and no really heavy CPU duties why not consider something like a Microserver or NAS box. These work very well -- really reliable and usually have 2 - 4 Bays for HDD's so you can get a decent amount of HDD space.
I/O etc is always well designed for a server -- can run also for 24 hrs a day on as little as 35 W even when serving PLEX multimedia to a few users.
You can usually add a graphics card as well but it won't be a mega gaming gizmo.
Depending on what you are doing these small Microservers are cheaper than a traditional PC, much more reliable and take up oodles less space.
The real crunch is what sort of CPU load will you need -- I find for serving PLEX and a few files the HP GEN 8 ProLiant microserver works brilliantly - I'm running CENTOS 7 on it -- with a few Windows VM's as well --no problems with performance.

Trick also with these -- connect an SSD instead of a DVD and set the system as default to configure all your HDD's and the SSD to individual RAID 0 drives --then you can install and boot from the SSD - otherwise in AHCI mode you can only boot from an HDD in the first two bays. Running all the HDD's as RAID 0 gives you access to all 5 Disks - although you can combine them in various combinations.
The HP server takes RAID as the default configuration -- alter in the BIOS if you need AHCI mode.
Very decent reliable piece of kit at a cheap price and nice small footprint.
