Whenever I log-in from hibernate or boot, the start interface shows. I had this enabled in Windows 8.1 (start screen), but now I'm on 10 (no start screen) and it still shows.
There is no option to disable it. Is there a registry key to disable this?
P.S. My start screen is normal, not full screen.
Could be possible this is enabled in settings Tablet Mode - Turn On or Off in Windows 10
Thank you, I think it's fixed now. I changed it here:
Welcome, hope it helped !
It actually still shows after changing the option. I think it is because the start is not closed when you press "Power > Sleep". I'll send feedback through the app about this.
For now, I send a report to the feedback app.
Sorry to see still have an issue, look here then Start Full-screen - Turn On or Off in Windows 10
The problem still exists. Here is what just happened when I signed in, not from boot:
Definitely not same as link i last gave you, not a Start Full Screen, looks like your Start menu stays open always. Strange !
Seems like you are stuck at Start Menu, not Full Start Screen. This is a bit odd, some who experienced this type of issue were either not able to open the Start menu at all. Try these methods listed here
I found that it only stays open after a power option is chosen (Sleep or Hibernate) because you have to open the start menu. When I use Win + L, the start does not appear. I wrote about this in the feedback app and hope they fix it. Thank you for your help. This issue will be marked solved as it will be fixed soon.
