I have tried every tool possible and park control shows error changing power parameters and i am running it as administrator
Have you tried this regedit?Just make sure you continue the search in regedit for the key of every instance of the key above.________________________________________________________
In short, here is the better method from sky60234________________________________________________________
- Go to Regedit
- Find this key: 0cc5b647-c1df-4637-891a-dec35c318583
- Within this key, there is a value called: " ValueMax "
This value represents the % number of cores the system will park - the default 100% ie: all Cores are potentially park-able- Change the value from 64 to 0 so the " ValueMin " and " ValueMax " are both zero
- You will have to find the key a few times and repeat the processfor each time it is found - the number of instances will depend on the number of power profiles in your system [ in my DAW it was only found twice ]
- Do a full shutdown and power-off and cold-re-start
Yes i have tried there is only one time I could find it and still it just wont work.
Are you on 'High Performance' power plan?
I tried High performance plan but still facing the same issue and am currently on that plan
Do the cores show as 'parked' in Resource Monitor?
yes the cores show as parked mostly core 2 to 8 show as parked
i guess no body will help
These are the keys I have changed to show under the advanced power settings and the values I'm using at the moment without any issues:
; Show Extra Options in Advanced Power Options
; Processor performance increase threshold, 10%
