I have an HP Pavilion dv6 laptop (Intel Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T6600 @ 2.20GHz with Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family Video Adapter) and have recently upgraded it from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Thus far, all applications seem to run quite well on Windows 10 with a couple of exceptions (i.e., Chief Architect's Home Designer Pro 2016 and onOne's Perfect Photo Suite) - both of which are fairly graphics intensive and indicate that an upgraded video adapter driver is needed to function properly.
Is there a Windows 10 video driver available for my laptop configuration? If so, I can't seem to find one - from Intel, HP or Microsoft. I'm sure that someone on this forum knows for sure!

Do you have a more precise name of that laptop? When I search the HP website for drivers,

it gives me more than 300 different products with these search terms. There should still be four signs behind the dv6, like dv6-2200 or dv6-6c00.

It's hard to read but the model number appears to be dv6-1355dx. Thx.
The HP website does not offer any drivers for Windows 10 for that model:
HP Software and Driver Downloads for HP Printers, Laptops, Desktops and More | HP® Customer Support
The newest driver for that model on the HP website is version 8.15.10.1883 allegedly coming from August 2015 (which might be a wrong date - the Intel website has a newer version from 2013). It is only listed as compatible with Windows 7, not with Windows 10. However, if that version 8.15.10.1883 is newer than the one you are currently using, it might be an idea to try it anyway.
The Intel website has generic graphics drivers for your Mobile Intel® 4 Series Express Chipset:

Also only for Windows 7, but a newer version (x.x.x.2869) than what HP offers (x.x.x.1883).
Windows Update is a third possibility to get drivers from - however Windows Update only offers, what also got released through other channels. For older hardware, there should usually not be anything new on Windows Update. (Apart from that, Windows 10 would by default install new drivers from Windows Update automatically so that you would most likely already have them anyway.)

Thank you, but the HP driver you referenced is actually older than the one I have, and the Intel driver won't install on my system (error message says hardware doesn't support it)!
That means that HP has in some way modified the driver - the generic one might then not be compatible with the hardware you have.
So, if you have a newer version than the one offered on the HP website and the one from Intel directly does not work, then the question is: Where did you get that driver from? Is it a driver, which comes with Windows 10 by default? Or did you install it manually after downloading it from God knows where?
I have the same lousy chipset on an aging budget Samsung R530 laptop. This is not my primary laptop anymore, but it bugs me that I cannot connect it to my LG 277L monitor. Upon asking LG customer care for help - their website does provide a driver, which I, oddly, cannot access - they asked me to update my graphic drivers instead. According to Windows Update, they are fully updated though. Not the same version as the OP either:

Anyone else experiencing further issues with these graphics and/or monitors? The monitor will not display anything at all, even though it is recognized by the PC. If I take a screenshot Windows appears to send an image to two monitors, too.
I have a Lenovo SL510 with the Mobile Intel 4 graphics. I did get it working when I was testing Windows 10. I'll be trying again. I'll be attempting these instructions.
