Cumulative update for Windows 10 Version 1511 (KB3176493)=Please help=

I know most people here are complaining about anniversary update 1607 but Im not able to even reach that, Update KB3176493 is causing me a huge headache, it installed and reversed install about 20 times now, I almost cant use the computer any more. Ive tried every possible guide and solution I could find, including applying the update from a full offline installer, nothing works.

I have a different laptop that had no problems at all with this particular update. Just for the sake of clarity the ONLY thing I changed in this Windows installation was changing the directory of user files, if that's whats causing it I would happily change it back.

I would change it back and then see if you are then able to install the update.
If it still does not do it then you can always revert back to what you changed
Remember before you do create a restore point.
Good luck and keep us posted on how you get on

But this is the Anniversary update? the one I'm talking about is right before it, August 9, 2016 — KB3176493 (OS Build 10586.545) in your link. or is this part of the anniversary update? can I just skip it and go for the 1607? I'm confused.

I tried installing it using DISM and the offline installer, it didn't work. I'm at the end of my ropes here. It doesn't matter in WHAT way you apply the update, it will always stop in the second stage where it restarts and finishes updating. I uploaded the log files, dism1 is where I did the /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth, dism2 is when I applied the update, and CBS log file, maybe someone would be nice enough to take a look.

Changing the user directory will be a last resort as it will probably mess up my windows install.

Yes, pretty sure you can.
