Everything is too big in Windows 10

I'm just about fed up with Windows 10. I've been trying to get this thing working properly for 24 hours now.

I used the website link everyone was passing around to download Windows 10 bc my computer kept showing failed attempts at installing it. When it finished installing, my desktop screen looked a mess. Everything was super huge and text was blurry. I could not find anyone else who was having this issue. I went in and tried to change the display resolution and then everything looked too small. It's like Windows 10 just doesn't fit on my computer. I've re-installed it 3 times and it's the same every time.

Can anyone help?

Hello Toya, and welcome to windowssh blog.

Usually you get the best picture using the recommended screen resolution for your display. Afterwards, you can adjust the DPI scaling to your liking.

Hope this helps for now,

Thank you! I'll try this tomorrow and report back

Installing graphics drivers may solve this.

are you using a high density display

I have been having this same issue, normally everything is smaller and sharp on 1080P, now that I have windows 10 all the windows I open are big and blurry. Couldn't find anything on it all yesterday, the display setting are already as small as they can possibly go, but everything is still huge. Looks like the desktop itself is 1080P, but every other window is opened as if its running at 240P or 360P.

Never mind I fixed it, yesterday the changes I was making weren't saving, today they did and everything actually went back to being proper

Where do I get those?

I'm sorry I don't know what that means but I ran Belarc Advisor and under display it says this

BB Capture Driver [Display adapter]
NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 [Display adapter]
HP 2010 [Monitor] (19.9"vis, s/n 3CQ0211458, May 2010)

Toya,

If you like, you can see the link below for information about the latest NVIDIA graphics driver for your system.

It's a screen with greater resolution than a equally-sized common one, in which pixels are smaller (greater DPI) like found in modern phones and tablets. For your OP description, it sounded like that.

That info lacks the display model "HP 2010" returns lots of things According to that output, you have the graphic drivers already installed (I don't know what is "BB Capture Driver")

It's a HP 2010i monitor? then it's not a high density screen, I suppose you have it set to 1600x900, right?
