I love it so much! Way better than Windows 8.1!
Have not had such a great experience yet to really say I 'love' it.
Yes.. loving it,, been a nice experience going form 8.1 to 10 so far.
Its fast but I would like that they give us option to install it on different partition and have dual boot so I can use 8.1 till we get more updates.
Im dissapointed cuz double ram usage, that was not the story before release.
Also youtube know to stutter when browsing. Not happened on 8.1
I'm completely in love, I had one minor issue when I first installed where the task bar wasn't functioning for about 5 mins, but that seems like a first boot issue, since that fixed itself no issues at all, a very smooth upgrade from 8.1 for me.
I was taught not to love anything that cannot love you back.
From first glances, it seems to run a lot faster than my old 8.1 install.
My laptop updated without incident, but my main PC crapped out during the install twice. I finally was able to force it to complete. My main thing was to get it authorized so I could do a clean install but it wouldn't even do that through the Control Panel. I had to force it manually via the command prompt.
Once all that was done I did a clean install via ISO and that went fine. I've only bumped into a few minor quibbles but nothing too concerning yet. The first I'm not getting notifications when mail arrives in the Mail app. I have it configured for Gmail, so maybe that's the issue? Does it have to be Outlook? I haven't researched it fully yet.
My other two minor gripes are with Edge. I love WOT (Web of Trust) and LastPass and wish they were available, though that's not the developers fault. Microsoft really should have had extensions working day one in my opinion. That said, the browser is fast and clean and I really like it a lot. I could definitely see it becoming my main browser.
I like Windows 10 a great deal. It seems faster than Windows 7 was.
I"m enjoying Windows 10 off and on on my 'Test Dummy' box out on the kitchen table, for the past 2 or so months.
It's okay.
Needs fixing with things like Windows Classic Explorer, which made me MUCH happier with Windows 10.
After a bit more dolling up I can hardly tell there is a pig under all that make up.
But, I don't love it enough to plunge right in on my main gaming box, which I'm typing on now.
Nor on my media / Neflix/ Music/ Web browser/ porn server PC in my bedroom. I can wait. No need to rush.
Not very happy with missing Media Center as I do us it to tune on on over the air broadcasts on both gaming
rig and bedroom tv as they both have OTA capable tuners in them.
Not found a free software solution as good as Media Center was at THAT job.
But, that said, I imagine Gaming box and maybe porn box might get moved to win 10 some day in coming months.
What I do love NOW?
Is reading blog, here, and on Reddit, and elsewhere about the nightmares some are having.
I love that.
I learn from it.
I feed on it.
