So I uninstalled a program, and a day later I did a system restore. The program is back, but I can't uninstall it again. When I try to uninstall it from the add/remove programs list nothing happens, same with using ccleaner.
Found this, but it doesn't work for Win10:
Hello possum2009,
What program is it?
You might see if you may be able to use OPTION SEVEN in the tutorial below to uninstall it.
Apps - Uninstall in Windows 10
If not, then you might see if you may be able to uninstall it after reinstalling the program.
It is called ToshibaRegistration. it was pre installed.
I found this below that you might see if it may help.
Would revo uninstaller work? I've never heard of it before doing a search for uninstaller programs. Is it safe?
Revo Uninstaller would be a good option to see if it may.
Revo Uninstaller did it. But I'm slightly worried. How safe is Revo Uninstaller?
It's safe if your careful with it.
I can back Brink on this over Revo Uninstaller.
I use it a lot on any computer if there is a program that wont uninstall
Revo uninstall is an excellent program.
Once I needed Revo to uninstall google Chrome which for some reason could not be uninstall via Programs and Features.
I used Revo and not only it uninstalled Chrome instantly, it also ask me if I wanted to remove what were left in the registry.
I said yes, and it showed me the entries I needed to delete. Not only that, it showed them in BOLDprints so that I would pick the right ones to delete.
I did that without any trouble.
I recommend it anytime.
*** adding............... Revo has been in existence since the early days of Windows Vista. It is well known among the Windows users.
