I recently used WinDirStat to figure out what's taking up the most space on my computer and it found one integratedoffice.exe that is taking up over 90gb of space on my SSD. Can I delete or compress this file without harming my computer because I really need more space? I'm looking into upgrading my SSD but I need some kind of temporary option. and this is the biggest damn file on my computer.
You have Office installed? IntegratedOffice.exe is for Microsoft Office click to run. There is no way it should be 90GB though - but see here you are not alone Huge and still growing integratedoffice.exe_streamserver.log - Microsoft Community
Perhaps you could try to delete the log file (you can use TFC Download)
and turn off logging ()
You could also reinstall Office (or uninstall it if you don't use it).
I don't ever remember installing Office... ever. This must just be some excess crap that I don't need then?
Most likely. The majority of laptops come with trial versions of software you never buy.
If you don't use Word or Excel you don't need it at all.
Run TFC from the link above and then go to programs and featuresand uninstall anything called "Office Trial" or similar.
Don't just delete individual things direct from WinDirStat though (just in case).
Aight, thanks for the help!
You are welcome. Let us know if it doesn't work or you get stuck at all. Definitely you don't need 90GB for Office. Even if you use it it only takes 5% of that space maximum.
Wow, that actually helped a lot, thank you! My disk space shot from 256gb to 137gb Hopefully these numbers are accurate but for now it has helped greatly. Thank you very much!
