Hello, please help me. My problem is accidentally run out of power while installing upgrading to Windows 10 from Windows 7. I have successfully installed Windows 10 through a bootable drive created with the Media Creation Tool from Microsoft. The problem is, I cannot activate Windows and I do not have the option to return to Windows 7 and upgrade from there because I think it was corrupted by the power failure (silly me). Thanks in advance
windows 7 should still be in the windows.old folder if you tried to upgrade..
but it appears you then did a clean install of windows 10
you should be able to activate windows 10 with the product key on your windows 7 COA

If no, then, based on my understanding, you have downloaded the wrong iso file.
Ahh ok cause when I created a bootable drive for my win 7 laptop using another computer the only choices were windows 10 windows 10 home single lang and windows 10n. So should k choose windows 10 only?Why Single Language ?

If your Win 7 did NOTcome with N, or KN, or Single Language version, then yes, you should have selected Windows 10.
