All metro apps crash.

This is a problem I have been having for a few days now. Upon launching any metro app, it crashes.

Attached is a picture with the diagnosis of the problem. Any way to fix that??

Thank for any help!!!

Hello d2123cross,

You might see if re-registering the Store may help.

Brink,
This did not work. There was no error messages when entering the command in CMD. All of the apps still crash.

d2, i think it is time to use your recovery file, you should have. For me fresh install is the last resort.....

What recovery file?

See if anything here helps:

The AppsDiagnostice.diagcab isn't very prominent, so here' a direct link

There have been issues with Apps since MS introduced the black beta Store.

I usually end up uninstalling all Modern apps, check the black Store and reinstall them. Any missing I get from the green Store.
Note that the black store took a few attempts to update itself - probably fixed upstream - nothing I did.

Go to powershell and type:

Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)AppXManifest.xml"}

This works for me.

you go to Control Panel, Recovery and there you have your recovery files if you made them.

Can well be (if you did not) that Windows did put one there for you. (Critical Update), but i never used that one for restore.
