I was using print to pdf in edge browser. Printed pdf file has water mark even with cute pdf writer. Where as Same type printing in other browsers does not show water mark. How to avoid water mark in edge browser print to pdf.
I tested this just now, printing this page as PDF from Edge, using Windows native Microsoft Print to PDF. No watermark, here's the PDF to check: Test.pdf
Of course if you are using a trial version of a paid for product, that would explain watermarks.
I also did the same page. No watermark. But when I printed a part of an E-Paper page, I got water mark on print page.
What does the watermark say? Could you please post a screenshot of it?
In case you need help in posting screenshots, see these windowssh blog tutorials:

print with watermark
The watermark says quite clearly "Not for sale".
I am not sure if that is from the PressReader site, which usually allows printing (even PDF) only when you pay for it, or if the PDF you attached is created with a trial / free version of a third party PDF writer.
Normal PDF printing from Edge does not add watermark. No issues there.
I think it's a watermark from the site.
The press reader is used by Singapore Govt Library to display EPapers. I tried printing from it. But this does not happen if I use firefox for the same site.
