How do I remove techbrowsing.com browser redirector?

Hi all,

I think I have techbrowsing.com browser redirector on my PC.
Occasionally my browser (firefox) will go to the techbrowsing page or a random page, like russian dating or slimspots or greenwood formula money making, none of which are the sites I want to go to.
I have looked it up and think it may be malware or something but my AVG daily scan hasn't found anything, nor has an 18 hour deep malwarebytes scan. I am currently running an administrator sfc/scannow scan.
I am wary of downloading a solution to it from the internet as I am not sure what I can trust.
I have looked for add ons to my firefox browser but can't find any.
My barclaycard was recently used for some fraudulent purchases, which they are looking in to, could this be connected?
Any help appreciated.

Cheers,
Paul

Just an idea have you looked in Program and Features to see if it is in there.
Also have you cleared your cache or file history

Hi,
Thanks for your reply, I have looked in Programs and Features but can't see anything unusual in there and have cleared all history and refreshed firefox.

ok thanks or reply I don't use FireFox so cant help you there but must be something to do with it

Use the Free version of SUPERAntiSpyware, download, install it declining the trial period.
Then let it update , run a full scan.
Let the scan run the entire length, even if it looks like its stopped.
When its finished a screen will show with the results of what it found.

SUPERAntiSpyware | Remove Malware | Remove Spyware - AntiMalware, AntiSpyware, AntiAdware!

Thanks for that, I'm running a scan now....

Thanks for that, I'm running a scan now....
You're welcome. Please post back with the results.

Screenshot of the scan result. Hopefully removing these will solve my problem, thanks for your help.
I will report back in a couple of days and let you know.

Paul

Great new's, looking forward to your next update.

Bugger!
Just browsing the internet, clicked on a website and it opened a window for Dark Era, some gaming site 321 or something.
This is after deleting the tracking cookies and PUP's found by Superantispyware.
Any more suggestions, guys?
