I have a Chuwi Hi 8 Pro tablet with android 4.4 and win 10 dual OS. The tablet will NOT remember the password to my Wi-Fi. Each time I turn on the tablet I have to put in the complicated Wi-Fi password. The tablet was not always like this it used to remember the PW. I contacted Chuwi and they said to "check" the "remember password" box. The problem is that I do not have a 'remember password' box. Help! Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Chuwi forum gave you alinkback to our forum. The advice was :
quote .................
Go to device manager >> Network Adaptor>> Right click on your wireless adaptor and select uninstall....(dont check the box)
Reboot and reconnect with your wireless
end quote.

Did that work for you ?

Thank you for your reply. I tried your suggestion but without success.
I assume I had to change the tablet to Win 10 OS, which I did. I went into settings, then devices, clicked on device manager and then double clicked on network adapters. There items were listed 1-bluetooth devices, personal area network, 2- Bluetooth devices, rfcomm protocol TDI and, 3-broadcom wireless SDIO. In each case when opened there was no box to ‘uninstall’. The only box sais ‘This device is working properly.”
Have I done something wrong or is it my tablet program.
Any further suggestions or can I not follow instructions.
Again any help would be appreciated.
I probably mention that this tablet is normally used with the Android OS.

I do not have an answer for you.
I would strongly suggest that you go back to Chuwi forum for solution. People there are familiar with dual OS situations.

You did not follow the instructions:

Right click windows start icon in Windows 10, select Device Manager.

Expand Network Adapters.

In device manager, RIGHT CLICKthe wifi adapter and choose Uninstall.

OK thanks again. I uninstalled as per your instructions. Restarted the tablet and set up the Wi-Fi connection again. When I turned off the tablet the password was gone again and I had to type it in again. This does not make sense, why is the tablet not remembering the Wi-Fi password????
