Event Viewer error

I have 599 errors of this. I have run SFC /Scannow and Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth. It didn't find any errors. I have Googled and searched here and can not find a fix. Is this something to worry about?

Hi.
Is your W10 OS activated?
Settings>Update & security>Activation to check activation.

What build are you running? Type winverin the search box.

In an administrative command prompt, type slmgr /dlv. Wait for a small box to pop up. Compare the license mentioned in your screenshot with the Activation ID in the box (Windows Script Host).

Can you look in Reliability History and maybe get some additional details by clicking on the error? Have you recently installed some software that's not activating?

Windows 10 is activated. Version 10586.218. License and activation ID is not the same. I don't know what Reliability History is.

Okay, so it's not the Windows activation that's failing. Please type Reliability History in the search box and select it, let's have a look at more information.

Click on the critical event and post a screenshot of what it says.

I don't have any critical events in this.

I'm at a loss here Clint. Let me see if I can find anyone else who may have some ideas.

Thanks! Me too.

Hi @Clint .

Please go to the BSOD - Posting Instructions - Windows 10 blog, get the app, run it and upload the resulting zip in your reply post.

I know that it is not a BSOD issue; but that log gives the closest view of the system and will help us to determine what is actually going on there .

I checked in my event viewer for something similar(event id or the name).

I found it has to do with Client License Service, and being a service, I looked in Services.
Clint make sure it's set to Manual (Trigger start):

Also can you show us the information in the Details Tab(friendly view):

Problem with app Licensing Sync, can be caused by an incorrect Timezone settingor aPC is not synced Internet Time, and a couple of other reasons i can't think of at the top of my head.

But, you could also try opening up Task Scheduler, tree down to Microsoft>Windows>all the way to the bottom to (1)WS.
This is the task for theWindows Store License Verification Task.
You will see (2) two tasks, click on both,
and let them (3)Run for a minute or two,
then click (4)Refresh, to see if they completed.

WSTask will say under the Last Run Resultcolumn "The system cannot find the file specified. (0x80070002)", that is normal on Win10 andis nota bug or sign of a problem.
