After successful upgrading to windows 10 I was left with 3 folders that weren't in system disk before:
Windows10Upgrade
$GetCurrent
inetpub
they're not big but I don't like redundant folders
I did few times Disk Cleanup after system cleanup
so maybe they're needed but for what?
thank you
This is the information for inetpub:As for the other two folders, I don't have them on my computer. They seem to be temporary folders used for the upgrade. I would delete them. That folder is, by default, the public web root for the built-in Windows web server, called Internet Information Services (IIS). Anything you place on that folder is served by IIS as your web server content pages and downloads.
Do you plan to use the computer as a web server? If not, just go to Windows features and untick IIS, reboot and delete the folder afterwards if it's there.
-----------
thank you for your prompt answer
will do what you instructed for inetpub
will search more for the other 2 folders
I also deleted Recovery folder which included only one xml file and everything seems to work

coudn't find windows features (did you mean programs and features? no IIS or Microsoft IIS there either)
thanks
It is under Programs and Features. Then in the left column click on Turn Windows features on or off.
Thank you again
you're invaluable!
