How does one know that they have a clean install of windows 10.
Where do you go to see that it is a clean installation of windows 10 and that your previous version is now gone completely.
I looked under activation and that only says that I have windows 10 pro activated. If it's not a clean installation shouldn't it say that somewhere? ?
- There won't be any programs installed on the device except for Windows.
- All settings and drivers will be at default.
- Some hardware may not operate correctly as Windows either may not have the drivers for the components or did not identify the hardware correctly.
There won't be a windows.old folder
Yes. That is true.
But later on when you have all your applications running again where do you go to see that it says you have a clean installation of windows 10??
Somewhere it must say that this is a clean install...
One takes a journey through the memory centers within the cerebral cortex. Then one retrieves and assesses the available data to confirm whether a clean install was performed on the device.
That's how I do it
Wow nothing more just wow.
If you installed programs on top of a clean install, it is NO LONGER a clean install. You may be a little off on what you think others refer to as a clean install. Perhaps you're worried about whether or not your install (clean or not) is properly activated - though you said you've checked that? Please be more specific about your concern.
I am at a loss with your questions.
So let's forget the whole thing. !!!
Because we want to know exactly what you mean by a "clean" install?
A clean install is when you take a computer with no operating system on it and install an operating system on it.
An upgrade is when you take a computer with an operating system on it and you upgrade that installed operating system to a newer or different version.
Exactly. That is what I was referring to. A clean install. Using the same words others have used.
