Shutdown Button Delay & Long Shutdowns

Hello,

I've been researching this issue I'm experiencing but I haven't come across anything that has helped.

Issue:
Click on the start menu > Power > Shutdown.
Computer does not immediately shut down. I can continue to do tasks for about 30seconds.
The computer suddenly switches over to the "Shutting Down" screen with green/blue/<color> background.
The computer takes several minutes to shut down.

I have attached a screenshot of Event Viewer logs for Microsoft/Diagnostics-Performance/Operational filtered to Event ID's 200-299 (Shutdown).

I have also run a sfc /scannow but there were files that Windows was unable to fix.

I'll include the log files as a zipped attachment if it helps.

I've also tried performing a clean boot described in this article with no success:

I'm unsure what to do at this point. Please help.

Why not right click start button
Then scroll down to Shut down or sign out
Then click > then Shut down
The orange screen comes up
Then goes blank
Doing mine that way it shuts down in about 30-60 seconds completely

Romeiro,
About sfc found corrupt files but unable to fix......................

In the same Command Prompt (Admin) windows, copy and paste this command...........

dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

> press Enter.
Again it will take some time.
When finished, it will give you a report.

Note : you might get an error message that " Source files could not be found ".
If so, please use this method...........................

You need the Install.wim which can be obtained by downloading the ISO from Tech Bench.

Once you have the iso downloaded, right click at the ISO > click Mount> leave it there
Then open the elevated command prompt and copy and paste this................

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /wim:H:sourcesinstall.wim:1 /limitaccess

Note :H is the drive where the iso is mounted. Change it if your driver letter is different.

When it is completed, you should get the report that the operation is successful.
Now run the sfc /scannow again. It should be ok this time.
