Page Fault in Nonpaged Area (Portcls.sys)

I have an Asus N73J Laptop running Windows 8.1. I have attempted (numerous times) to install Windows 10 but it always errors at about 32% completion with the BSOD - Page Fault in Nonpaged Area (Portcls.sys). I have noted and tried almost all of the fixes others have had success with but alas, I am frustrated and disappointed by the continued troubles I am having. I am assuming that the problems stem from failed driver updates (see attached jpg) but I have been unable to correct this situation. Attached are a couple associated jpg's and the setuperr log file should somebody be able to assist me. I tried to insert the setupact log file but unfortunately it is too large for download.
Thanks, appreciate any assistance I can get.

If you believe that failed driver updates cause this issue, you might try to restore the hidden updates. Then do a new search for updates. This will make sure that you will actually see the newest versions of the upgrades and it will make sure that revoked updates no longer are displayed for you.

Then I would try them one after the other... Should you again get an error, the file C:WindowsWindowsUpdate.log should contain helpful information on what is going wrong.

Another option might be to download the upgrades from catalog.update.microsoft.com and to install them manually.

Many thanks for the response Joergi. I should have mentioned that I did do exactly as you mentioned trying to get a fresh update and I did attempt to install each driver individually. Neither worked and further research suggested that I try to hide the driver updates (as you noted) and attempt the W10 update with existing drivers. That did not work either. In any event, I will try to do the downloads from the "catalog" as you suggest and in the meantime I have attached the windowsupdate.log should you wish to take a quick peak. Many thanks again......

Driver Status: 0x180200a, ProblemNumber: 00000000
Your driver installations end up with different status codes, but always with ProblemNumber 00000000.

First, check, if installing the updates after downloading them from the catalog website is working.

Basically drivers in Windows Update only are kind of an excerpt of all the software the according manufacturer has released. Basically you can (and some people even say: you should) go to the websites of the device manufacturers and get the current versions from there. E.g. in case of your WLAN card, downloads are available from Drivers for Atheros AR9285 and Windows 7. Installing that driver should then make the one from Windows Upgrade superfluous; after doing a new search, it should then no longer be displayed.
