Hello Forum,
Here I am a new member, and this is my story in short: Recently my win 7 pro machine started dieing, I managed to retrieve most of the programs I have installed, burnt them on rw-dvds (have the installation files). Then I ordered to a technician a new desktop pc, he installed win 10, now I am with this new system, learning from A how to use it.
I managed to copy all these dvds to the new machine, but before I do anyprogram installation, I want o make a whole backup of the system. On the win 7 machine I used Macrium reflect free edition (Forunm win 7 support sujested), made the rescue cd and it worked several times.
So here is my first question: Install the macrium reflect and make a backup or shell I learn how to use the system's backup
(I guess on this site there are some how to tutorials).
Next question: The system's interface and menus are English, however when I use the right mouse button (in browsers and windows explorer) the language is Hebrew, how can I change it to be all in English ?
Well, this will be all for begining, your answers will be much appreciated
Thanks
Motim

Use the Macrium you are familiar with!
Lots of Brilliant Tutorials here!
I admit I don't know your problem with the right button-Hebrew situation - but someone will help you - there are lots of multilingual folk here - me - I'm English, and my second language is LOUDLY SPOKEN ENGLISH .
Hello Motim!
About languages. Open Settings (you can click on start and type settings - click on 1. app) and click on Time and language.
Selected setting will open as shown in picture below. In my case my typing language is Slovenian, but Windows and apps supposed to be in English. Windows will show (still not everything) most of things in default or display language.
So be sure, that English in the 1st place. You can set the order by clicking Additional settings text on the bottom.
Old Control panel opens. Click on Language settings in Control panel and reorder you languages in correct order.
That's it.
Hello,
Thanks for a warm welcome.
I will start from the end - the language problem was solved - the technician installed the browsers Hebrew version, only the interfaces were English, so today he visited me to replace something and reinstalled the browsers English version.
About backups, I do not have the win 10 installation disk, I received the computer with the system installed, same was with the win 7 system.
In the win 7 system I installed macrium reflect free from the installation file, then while being connected to the internet I ran from macrium the creation of a rescue cd, all was controlled by the program. So I think the tools you mentioned are not good for me (do not have the installation cd). I think to install macrium first, make a rescue cd, then make first a system's full image on a separate disk (inside the computer), then go on installing my other programs.
I would like to have your opinions about this.
Untill getting answers I'll do some homework with the new system - its whole new to me.
Appreciate your answers
Thanks
Motim
PS, (ashamed) do not know how to "eat" the iso files, never used such.
Hello Motim, I think the Macrium image of a clean install is an excellent idea. It can keep you from having to do a clean install. If you want, you could also download the installation ISO file from TechBench (Tech Bench) Or use the Media Creation Tool to download the ISO or put it on a USB drive (Windows 10)
The Media Creation Tool will put it on a USB drive for you, if you prefer.
