I just downloaded Windows 10 yesterday and I am encountering a problem with the Microsoft Store. I am trying to download a few apps. When I am on the app page, I click the "Free" button, which I assume is the download button, and nothing happens. I don't get any error messages, nothing downloads, nothing pops up, simply nothing happens when I try to download apps from the store. Is anyone else encountering this problem and does anyone know a fix to this issue I am having? Thanks!
Update: I have a new and possibly related problem. I am trying to enable Cortana and it is telling me I need to sign into my Microsoft account first. So I click the sign in button in the search menu, and then nothing happens. Also, when I go into my account settings, there is an option that says "Sign in with a Microsoft Account Instead," and as expected, when I click this, absolutely nothing happens.
Also, I tried signing into the store. When I click the person icon, there is a drop down that includes an option to sign into my account. When I click this, also as expected, nothing happens. I am beginning to think this is a larger problem.
I just tried it on my 'puter and clicking on a free app D/L's it.
Its like a quick flash and I see nothing going on. Then check in all apps and it is there.
Check is all apps to see if yours is listed.
I do not see any apps listed. I am coming from Windows 7 so that may be because I actually have no apps installed.
When you click on all apps, is there anything there ?
Okay, this time it loaded all of my apps. However, only the apps that I have installed from Windows 7 show up. Nothing I have tried to install in the store appears in that area.
Go back to the store and try again to D/L something you want and see if it work's now.
Already did, and still, nothing happens, all those other problems I mentioned exist still as well.
I made a short video demonstrating my problem so it can be visually seen. I know the quality of it is poor, but it should get the point across.
