I am having troubles with Outlook 2010 and 2016 hanging every time I try to use them. I have uninstalled Outlook 2010 and installed Outlook 2016. I am also having troubles with any other application that I am using. Is there a fix in the system for this type of problem? and are other users find or suffering from the same problems? I would like to get the computer running correctly as I am currently studying online and it is very frustrating having everything hang on me.

Hi have you tried SFC /Scannow to see if it comes up with any errors.
Or you could try an in-place upgrade
To find out how to use them follow the links in my signature
First, make sure your computer is clean.
Run a full virus scan with the security program you have installed.
Also run a malware scan with Malwarebytes.
If you don't have Malwarebytes installed, here is the link to afree edition:
You need to figure out what process/sub-process is causing it to hang up.
Third party Internet Security software can be one culprit. The other is that your profile may be screwed up.
The following was copied off of a Technet post. Outlook and Exchange Solutions Center is a really good resource for anything Office.
This is how to get to the log: To access Outlook error log: open Computer Management - Event Viewer - Windows Logs - Applications or/and Event Viewer - Applications and Service Logs - Microsoft Office Alert.
This is how to start Outlook in Safe mode: To access Outlook error log: open Computer Management - Event Viewer - Windows Logs - Applications or/and Event Viewer - Applications and Service Logs - Microsoft Office Alert.
As a recommended solution I would open Outlook in safe mode first. It will indicate if Outlook’s add-ins causing the issue. To start Outlook in safe move: Start – Run and type
C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft OfficeOffice14Outlook.exe /safe
If Outlook stopped restarting (in safe mode) then you know it is one of the add-ins. Open Outlook again in Safe Mode and disable issued add-ins.
Sometimes, .pst file is corrupted or even hard drive. So, check / verify .pst file:

Hi:Actually, the only safe source to download the MBAM installer is from the publisher's own web site.
(This is generally the case for all software, not just MBAM.)
3rd-party sites may not have the current build, may have been compromised, or may even add wrappers or other junk/PUPs.
(NOTE: No authorized 3rd-party site is permitted to add any sort of wrapper, installer, PUP or other junk to the MBAM installer. So, technically, the filehippo site should be OK. But I cannot speak for other software products.)
Here are better links to download: Link 1 and Link 2Note: the installer is the same for Free, Trial and Premium versions. A 14-day Trial will be enabled by default during the setup wizard (1 Trial per system per major program version). If you do not want the Trial, be sure to opt-out (un-tick) the option during the setup wizard.
Thank you,
MM
Thanks for all the tips peoples. I will work my way through them all to try to find the culprit. I have noticed some troubles with my C: HD so will work on that as well. Thanks again for all your suggestions. Will update you all asap.
