SourceMicrosoft has been slowly updating nearly every aspect of Windows 10 but one area that remained unchanged, for many years, is the UI used during installation. In newer builds of Windows 10, the UI has finally updated and while I do not have an actual picture to show you, since the layout is quite basic, we have mocked up, identically, what current versions look like. To be clear, I have seen this UI and it looks like what you see below.
The new interface focuses around a center ring that acts as a progress bar and along the bottom of the UI are the various steps of the installation process. The top of the screen says "Installing Windows 10 Technical Preview" and below that "Your PC will restart several times. Sit back and relax".
I wonder if that "Sit back and relax" means a default install with no options!?

This is much better and I can't wait to see it implemented.
What I'd like to see is as it loads a command prompt window open and watch what and how fast the files and folders are loaded, like in Ubuntu(and other Debian based OSes)
As an option.. maybe but not as a default. For me it's just interesting almost hypnotic. I also miss in Windows Defender watching the files fly through when scanning, like in Microsoft Security Essentials. I understand how that goes.. I just would rather understand the purpose for the files being installed/updated rather than just seeing meaningless names rush by me to see.
after all these years I either know or make an educated guess, but it's about watching they speed of which the are loaded instead of boring spinning dots or a green line that's reminiscent of a tunnel digger.I understand how that goes.. I would have to sit back and relax. Actually I would probably go something else and keep checking back. To me that is too plain and boring.
