Windows Store not working

I've tried some commands and none have worked and have thought about reinstalling. Should I or is there a better fix for this?

Hello Boned, and welcome to windowssh blog.

If you haven't already, you might see if re-registering the Store may help.

Store - Re-register in Windows 10

If no luck, then you could do a repair install of Windows without losing anything.

Hello Boned,

The "repair install Windows 10"fixed my Windows Store problem and some other problems I was having.

I have done the second thing and the store seems to work but it keeps saying that the server isn't responding and it crashes every time it does that. Do I do the first thing you recommended?

Check that your system clock has the correct time zone, this happened to me, and that was the problem.

Control Panel > Date and Time > Change Time Zone...

Find your Time Zone > click ok

then go to the Internet Time tab... click change settings > Update now.

Wow! Me too. Whenever I have tried to download apps from the Store for days, it would just close itself. My time zone was set wrong, I didn't even notice. Changed the time zone and now Windows Store is working fine.

For whatever reason, this fixed my issue as well. Very strange bug.

Same problem here. Windows Store opens, shows splash screen then closes. Time zone is set correctly.

Hi stocktiki,
Did you try the links posted by Brink (post #2)? The second link fixed my problem but after doing that check your time zone.
