Dual Monitor issue

Ok. Have always run at least dual monitors on all my systems. Had no problem with the Dell Monitor(VGA) I gave my buddy for his lappie.

I have the HDMI port, and wanted to use a 19" TV to play WoWon of course...lol

Hooks up fine, have no trouble spanning the desktop etc. The problem lies in that task bar, and top of the screen are beyond view able range. Tried different modes on the TV, different screen resolutions, etc. Nothing works.

Now here's the rub. If I use the STD HDMI TV I have it works perfect. Looks like my main screen. Have it spanned of course. Moving apps is fine.

WHY
would the screen on the 19" do that if everything else I throw on there is perfect?

Over scan, can you adjust it on display or GPU driver ?

Bloody tried that. This one has my completely puzzled. Makes me yearn for the days where the old monitors have the vertical and horizontal adjusters...lol

Yeah, or just change that pentode tube for vertical refresh !!

This pic shows what I mean, The one monitor works perfect on the HDMI.

Ok, want to hear the latest?

Have a HP Pavilion 17" with the A8/8550G so it IS Windows 10 compatible. Saw the drivers were out, and grabbed them. First off I installed the product thinking it would be fine because I've never had a problem with the boxes I've built. My mistake. It loaded drivers for my AMD High Definition Audio Device, caused a bang and killed it. Deleted and reinstalled AFTER deleting the drivers. Updated the driver from the Device Manager. All fine. reload the supposed driver package. Added something for my WoW, and that was it.

Here's the rub. It did SOMETHING to my HDMI port. I have two TV's I can use, One's a small 17" that works perfect. I also have a 19" Dynex TV, that NOW will not be recognized. Will only show it as the 17"in the picture above. WTF happened here. Anyone know?
