Intel HD Graphics 4600

Hello. My PC uses Intel HD Graphics 4600 for its graphics driver. Here is the link to the latest driver version:

However, when I go on to Device Manager and select 'Update Driver Software' it gives me this driver version:

As you can see, this driver software states that it is for Intel NUC products (which I do not have), but it still gives me it as the 'latest driver software' for my Intel HD Graphics 4600.

Finally, when I run Intel's automatic driver finder and installer, I get this driver:

I am extremely confused with which driver is the latest and best for my PC. Could someone please help me? Thank you in advance.

I would install the latest Driver Version: 15.40.10.64.4300 which supports your Intel HD 4600 (4th generation Intel processor)
Only limitation you need to have windows 10 64 bit version.

Ps. You are sure you have a Intel HD 4600 and not a HD4000, because than you have to install Version: 15.33.39.4276 (Latest)

I have the same 4600 hd and mine says driver version is 20.19.15.4331 dated 18/11/2015
have just left it on that. its running fine

I have a Intel HD4600 and my driver version is 10.18.15.4271 and it says that's the most recent driver dated the same as the person above, Maybe Its because I have a HP Envy. that used to have Windows 8.1 on it. Its working fine though I had a HP tech look at it a while ago.

The latest driver is obviously 20.19.15.4331 dated 18/11/2015.

That's what I have (on Windows 10) but the Intel Driver Update Utility is trying to tell me to update to 15.33.38.64.4252 released on 29
/7/2015.

Bullshit.

Actually, they may be the same driver, even, BUT if you notice the version you'll notice these don't follow the same versioning system. One is published by Microsoft, and the other one from Intel. They may very well be the exact same driver, but published under a different version. The Intel driver has 5 sets of numbers XX.XX.XX.XX.XXXX, while the Microsoft version only has 4 sets of numbers XX.XX.XX.XXXX. No BS here.

This is the current one from Intel:
Code:
Driver Version: 15.40.16.64.4364 Release Version: Production Version Platform / Operating System(s): 6th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) processor family (codename Skylake) Microsoft Windows* 7-64 Microsoft Windows* 8.1-64 Microsoft Windows* 10-64 (Nov_Upd_RTM_10586) 5th Generation Intel(R) Core(TM) processor family (codename Broadwell) Microsoft Windows* 7-64 Microsoft Windows* 8-64 Microsoft Windows* 8.1-64 Microsoft Windows* 10-64 (Nov_Upd_RTM_10586) 4th Generation Intel(R) Core(TM) processor family (codename Haswell) Microsoft Windows* 10-64 (Nov_Upd_RTM_10586) Release Date: January 14, 2016
This is the current one from Microsoft. Notice the release dates.

This is what I get when I run the "Intel Driver Update Utility"

One with 5 sets of numbers. One with 4. I'm assuming they're both Intel drivers, but where do I get driver version "15.40.16.64.4364" as stated above? I'm not downloading it from anywhere but Intel.

I just went it to control panel/device manager/display adapters
open up where you check the driver version and I hit update driver, pick the top one of the 2 and it should update the driver to the latest version.

Mine says it's up to date.
When I try installing the checked one from the post above ("15.33.42.4358") it says my computer's not compatible.
When I try installing the second one, it says I have a newer driver installed. So yea... I'm not worried about it.
It's kind of like Android versions.
