This PC has been running stable for almost 3 years now. Recently there was the windows anniversary update, a crimson driver update for radeon cards, and installation of a new mouse. The three memory_management bsods happened when alt_tabbing, when closing a game and when trying to shutdown the computer. These 2 RAM memory modules that I have were tested to exhaustion when I first got them. I thought my pc was well and good, and now I don't know what's happening. Would really appreciate any help.OTAVIO-04_09_2016__22246,69.zip

Time to test RAM again.

RAM:

Follow this tutorial: MemTest86+ - Test RAM - Windows 10 blog

   Information

MemTest86+is a diagnostic tool designed to test Random Access Memory (RAM) for faults. MemTest86+ will verify that:

  • RAM will accept and keep random patterns of data sent to it
  • There are no errors when different parts of memory try to interact
  • There are no conflicts between memory addresses

Memtest86+runs from bootable media to isolate the RAM from the system, no other components are taken into account during the test.

   Warning
MemTest86+needs to run for at least 8 passesto be anywhere near conclusive, anything less will not give a complete analysis of the RAM.

If you are asked to run MemTest86+by a windowssh blog member make sure you run the full 8 passes for conclusive results. If you run less than 8 passes you will be asked to run it again.

   Note
MemTest86+has been known to discover errors in RAM in later passes than the eighth pass. This is for information only; if you feel there is a definite problem with the RAM and 8 passes have shown no errors feel free to continue for longer.

Running 8 passes of MemTest86+is a long and drawn out exercise and the more RAM you have the longer it will take. It's recommended to run MemTest86+just before you go to bed and leave it overnight.

Also just noticed this:
Code:
ffffb401`f8a12c78 fffff80a`9e9022ceUnable to load image SystemRootSystem32DRIVERSfvevol.sys, Win32 error 0n2 *** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for fvevol.sys *** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for fvevol.sys fvevol+0x122ce
This belongs to something called Driver de Filtro de Craccording to drivers.txt file. I don't know what that is but if you do, see if htere is an updated driver or if not necessary, uninstall it.

Thank you for replying Ztrucker, I appreciate it. I guess we'll have to test the ram then. I don't have a usb drive right now, so I'll run the 8 passes tomorrow night. Could it be that the storage device was in fault as well? I am running the pagefile on a samsung ssd, and had the rapid mode for it turned on (it's off now).
As for the Driver for Filtro de Cr (Cr filter?), I don't know, could it be malware? Some sort of browser filter perhaps?

I think the Cr is truncated and is actually a longer word.

I did find this:
Code:
What is fvevol.sys? Microsoft BitLocker drive encryption driver system driver file.
Read the info at the linked page.

Thanks for replying again Ztrucker. It looks like a safe windows function, right? I'm worried about the ram, will try to get the results as soon as possible. If they come out ok, does it mean my ssd is bonkers?

Don';t know yet. Will have to do more testing to figure out if not memory.

Ok, my videocard died. It froze my pc during gameplay and the PC will not POST with it installed. (red light indicating VGA missing on the motherboard). Using my secondary card only things have been running smooth. Could those problems have been caused by the dying video card?

Absolutely. Run for awhile and see how it goes.
